Southport Rescue Squad (SRS) is a volunteer organization dedicated to providing basic and advanced life support emergency medical services to the residents of Southport and a contiguous, unincorporated area designated by Brunswick County. In addition, SRS serves as one of five fully functional multifaceted rescue services in the county; supporting fire, law enforcement, public safety, and other emergency medical services.
